Every week I’ve been working heavier on @elitefts Spider bar squats so today focused more on slow controlled time under tension reps and it was exhausting in a whole other way! 10 reps on leg press took 90 seconds to complete (BRUTAL)! Reverse Dieting and Yo-Yo Dieting- We have all seen people with pretty dramatic weight loss transformations. Unfortunately, they are usually followed up with individuals gaining not just the weight they lost but more than they began with. People achieve their goal, don't really know what to do and binge like crazy. It's part of the ugly and all too common Yo-Yo dieting cycle that people fall victim to. So what is the solution to that? It's properly reverse dieting out of your diet. It takes a good amount of both discipline and patience but if it's executed correctly the rewards are out of this world. Take my drug-free, online client Chris for example. We began in March of 2018(first picture) and dieted him down through December when he got as lean as he wanted to at that point(2nd picture) With any successful diet food ends up typically being pretty low and you can definitely see that here. Once he reached his goal weight he put his trust into me again and we began reverse dieting him with the goal of putting on a good amount of muscle, rebuilding his metabolism(look at those carbs he's eating now👀) all while keeping fat gain minimal. As evidenced by the third picture i'd we are doing just that. This is a beautiful thing because not only can he look incredible while eating a LOT of food but because of the improvements we've made with his muscle mass and his metabolism he will be positioned very nicely when he decides to really lean up again because he will be able to do so with much more food than the first time. Great job, Chris. People work too hard to just throw everything away once they reach their goal and I really encourage people to inquire about properly reverse diet once you do get the physique you want.

From the ole prep files 2018 💯 . . Ever notice that the figure side model pose is pretty much different for everyone? (verses the back/front pose which is standard across the board) Everyone’s physique is different, causing different angles, hip positioning, foot layout, Leg curvature, hand placement etc etc. Actually, in my opinion the side model pose is one of the hardest to execute and it’s not even a pose that is judged 😅 My physique looks better with a “straight leg” curvature (I also externally rotate my knee causing flexion of the quad) VS the “bent knee” (which shows off the outside of the quad & hamstring curve) I honestly feel that because this pose is not actually judged that you can really make it your OWN 😉 Maybe you like both hands on hips, or hand on the opposite hip 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe even change foot positioning into more of a “Bikini-Like” Figure Model Pose. There are quite a few ways to play with this pose, give it a go! Or contact me for one on one Posing and we can figure it out together 😉😉 . . My calorie intake dropped drastically naturally after spring break so that might have something to do with it. • Today’s workouts: Morning row in the 8+: long warm up. 3x1000m. 5 min active rest. HEY!! Did some legs today and finished off with treadmill and 30 mins on bike! (Peep the quad pump) I am always drenched after cardio...anyone else?? Well, this is more of a glute focused leg day and ik im gunna be feelin it tomorrow😴 Best tip is ASS TO GRASS LADIES (& gents)!! Dont force your self just to go heavier cause it “sounds better” to do a heavier weight. If you can only go low with a lighter weight stick with a lighter weight! Going heavy with crappy form isn’t gunna help you improve, stay light with higher reps😊😊

How many times have you tried to help someone and they do just about everything to prevent it from happening? Either they are so helpless it's impossible to assist them, or they are too far gone and they don't even realize it. This may be an unpopular opinion, but here we go boyz! I heard Charles Poliquin, one of the best known strength caches in the world,  say on a podcast once that in order to “deserve” carbs post-work, you need to be sub-10% body fat. If you can’t see your abs, you shouldn’t be eating any carbs, like at all. I think he’s right. . I think when you have abs, a clear well to tell body fat%, you can do whatever the fuck you want with your diet, because you’ve earned it. When you have a gut or a lot of belly fat, you need to buckle down and put the work in to lose it. It’s true that certain people operate better on different macro % plans but when it comes to losing weight, fat specifically, earn your damn carbs stop making the process take longer than it has to! -*
