⁣ ⁣ ⁣Apparently this is the week where most people who have made the New's Year's resolution to get fit an healthy give up :(⁣ ⁣ Apparently a large number of people that set a goal to get fit and in shape in 2019 are the ones that start to get sick and give up around about now?⁣ ⁣ The so called week where people start giving up is the week at BSFA where everyone has stepped up their training and taken it to another level.⁣ ⁣ I can see how people may have given up this week though, I get it.⁣ ⁣ False and unrealistic promises of incredible results in ridiculous time frames.⁣ ⁣ Let me tell you now my friend, you will NEVER achieve what you want in 3 weeks!⁣ ⁣ People are impatient, they want results like NOW! Again I get it.⁣ ⁣ But let's get with reality here. People need to realise that the journey must be considered before the actual goal.⁣ ⁣ The journey is not quick or easy, commitment , dedication and patience is what is needed. You must enjoy the journey because if you don't? ⁣ ⁣ You are set for failure.⁣ ⁣ Nobody will stick at something they hate or something they dread doing.⁣ ⁣ That's why the chosen journey must be considered and must be considered wisely.⁣ ⁣ I am pretty confident that a lot of my members enjoy the Black Sheep journey.⁣ ⁣ We keep it different; we never do the same workout on our 6 week program. We are forever adding in new workouts and exercises to avoid the boredom factor⁣ setting in.⁣ ⁣ We even started the year with a brand new recipe book and one that will change every program.⁣ ⁣ The moral of the story is this - you don't need to be a drop out figure.⁣ ⁣ Don’t rush in to things, do your homework from the place you are thinking of joining. ⁣ ⁣ Check their results, do they have a following? ⁣ Are they popular? ⁣ What do people think of them?⁣ Do they provide a good service? ⁣ Are their coaches knowledgeable?⁣ ⁣ This is so important as you NEED all these things to help you. Some updates: My first week of classes were really good! I have a lot of free time this semester so I've been focusing a lot of my energy on helping freshmen, sophomores, and high school students with professional development. I finally reunited with my @nsbe family yesterday and I'm really happy because sometimes I think NSBE is the best thing to ever happen to me. This week has been busy but really great! I've lost 7.4 pounds in 2019 so far and have been just really happy😸 my birthday is also coming up so I'm excited to see where 22 takes me 💗

The main goal of every diet should be to increase your health – Physically & Mentally – You shouldn’t just focus on losing fat or building muscle.

🍎Why a certain diet might be 'working for you' 🍎 • Thing is; EVERY diet manipulates Energy Balance, in that, it put's you into a Negative Energy Deficit (A Caloric deficit or Calorie Deficit you'll also see it called online - same thing) • This is how people lose weight/fat/get shredded - they all kinda mean the same thing. • If you're currently doing one of the above 'diets', but you know deep down that once you 'stop' You're screwed. i.e; it's just not sustainable unless you're following that exact diet. Is it not time for a change? Don't you want this to be a long term thing for your health, fitness, social life, relationship with food etc. and not 'end up back at the start again'? • Thing is, if you know someone doing one of these diets; they swear by it. Why? Because Slimming World or Weight Watchers for example could have literally changed someone's life which is pretty cool, but again, if you stopped it, what would happen? • Side Note; Intermittent Fasting which I mentioned in this graphic too is a perfectly sustainable approach for some people, it's not a fad. But again I just wanted to highlight WHY it might work for someone. Not because of the 'fasting', but due to the deficit it put's you in. • This isn't about bashing people because they're 'on a diet'; but more so, to educate you WHY they work and to KNOW that there's other ways to achieve the same results WITHOUT having to follow a strict diet that you haven't a hope of following for the long term. • Example; for all our Clients @docfitnessgym the goal is the same. To help you achieve the Goals you want (Fat Loss, Health and/or muscle gain) while doing it all around a sustainable life so you're not married to a diet. But instead you're simply eating according to your goals. You're never 'on or off' a diet. You never have to binge because you feel so deprived. You never have to go and find another 'diet' again because you understand how the principles work and the habits needed to get there that work for you instead of against you. • So again, this post is more of an eye-opener that anything.
