Today is the day that I start my come back. School has taken over my life but no longer will I allow that to be an excuse. I am by no means in terrible shape, but I'm not where I know I can be. Day 2: part 2. Day two was A LOT! After lunch at Sketch, drinks at the Ice bar, walking thru Piccadilly Circus, window shopping in SOHO AND going to the Buckingham Palace...I ended my day here at the London Eye. I actually walked here from Buckingham palace (I was determined lol). Such BEAUTIFUL views. Even tho it set me back 30 pounds 😒, I really enjoyed it. I ended the night with a stroll on the Westminster bridge and grabbing some Fish & Chips! #sealedclutch #london #solotravel

Activation/Pre-Strength - Feel lost on what to do before your strength training? - Do you just jump into the workout cold? - After performing your mobility, a great way to take your workouts to another level is with some activation work. - Activation work is a way to get your neurally charged and prime you for a great strength session. Some ways to get activated: •Perform Power work here like Jumping, Throwing or KB Swings for example. •Practice a new skill or refine the skill you’ll use in strength work. •Core/abdominal work - In my training today I did Single leg hops for power work, Push-up position camshafts for core work/shoulder activation and finally Hip CARs for hip mobility. I ran this in a circuit performing 3 rounds. - This primed me for my strength training, which I’ll post later consisting of BB Front Squats, False Grip Pullups and Balance Training. - Try adding some activation activities into your next training session and let me know how it goes!
