Everyone wants to try a Juice Cleanse and ends up starved & dehydrated. * * Here's a look at how I "Juice Cleanse" which includes eating. You won't be starved but instead fed full nutrition! Your times may vary and this is just a one day example of the structure of how I “Cleanse!” * * 7am: 8 oz - coffee/tea/hot water mixed with Cinnamon, Turmeric and Honey (maple syrup) * #1 Anti Inflammatory Juice + Eat Any Fruit you want 1 pineapple 1 head of romaine 1 handful of spinach 2 inches of turmeric root 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper * * 10am: #2 Skin & Digestion or any beet/carrot juice 5 carrots 1 Beet 1 cucumber 1 lemon 1 green apple * Walk for 30 minutes or full work out * 1 pm: Meal: Vegan Pho Vegan Broth Base: 48 oz Low Sodium Vegetable Broth or Water 2 cups Chopped Celery 2 cups Chopped Carrots 2 cups Chopped Potatoes 2 cups Chopped Sweet Onion 1 cup Chopped Parsley 1 tablespoon Black Pepper 1 tablespoon Thyme 2 tablespoons Organic Soy Sauce 1 inch sliced Ginger Root 1 inch sliced Turmeric Root 3 Lime Leafs * 1. Beignets fo’ daze // New Orleans, LA

Found my new fave place @nectarinegrove in my fave city Encinitas✨ This place is gluten free with paleo and vegan options and only uses organic/grass-fed/the best of the best kinds of foods🙌🏻 I legit wanted everything on the menu! . . I got the fajita bowl which came with cashew cheese, guac, @sietefoods chips, chicken, sweet potato, peppers, and black beans🤤 . . I love eating out, especially when a place is using quality ingredients so I don’t feel bleh after~any fave healthier restaurants out there?!

Chloe and I are sitting in the airport and reflecting on our trip. It was truly awesome. This company is nothing short of spectacular. I’m in awe of all that they do for their members. Their transparency is unbelievable at times. The fact that we can visit the farms and see their process just shows that they are always doing their very best to provide the purest of products. This year they introduced the farm passport. We chatted with one of the men that works at the Northern Lights Farm and Distillery and you can literally stop by any time and see them work. I’m renewed and excited for the next chapter of my business and look forward to filling up this passport with my little girl! Chloe loved every minute of the trip and was so sad to leave for the airport this morning 😭 But on to our next leg of our journey! Helping others heal!

Nutrition Knowledge Sunday Eat Perform Live University Paleo What is it?: The thought behind Paleo is to eat what your body evolved to eat, or what was available during our evolution. Many modern-day foods and food-like products are making people sick and unhealthy, so eating what your body adapted to eat can help. One of my favorite arguments against this way of eating is that we don’t know exactly what our ancestors ate. This is true, but in no way is it a mark against it. We certainly know what they DIDN’T eat: processed, refined, added sugar, industrial oils, and CAFO meat. Paleo focuses lean grass-fed/pastured meat and eggs, wild-caught fish, vegetables, small amounts of fruit, coconut or olive oil, nuts, seeds, and eliminating grains, legumes, beans, dairy, vegetable oils, and sugar. Pros: Cleans up the diet and is an excellent way to approach an elimination diet. Even if people aren’t having symptoms of food allergies, eliminating any potential food allergens from the diet for several weeks and then slowly adding them back in can help you identify causes of inflammation you may never have noticed otherwise. It offers a very clean way of eating. Cons: Many people struggle with sustainability since there are off-limit foods. If someone is very active, it is easy to go too low carb and low fat at the same time, which can lead to energy struggles. I am OBSESSED with green salads at the moment 🤤🤤 a couple of weeks ago my mum picked one up for me with green apples and a couple of other bits and bobs in it - I was a bit skeptical about the apple in it but now I’m converted!! If you’re spending today meal prepping for the week ahead - I highly recommend adding these sweet potato popsicles to your mix (or pie popsicles as we call them 😉)! They are the perfect toddler snack on these 100 degree days (in fact mine has been having two of these a day the past week and I am 👌🏽 with it!) They are full of good fat, healthy carbs, and some protein from collagen! Ingredients: 1 can full fat coconut milk 1 cup cooked, mashed sweet potato 1 scoop (~1.5 tbsp) grass fed collagen 2 tbsp warm water 1 tbsp cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp raw honey (increase if you/ your kids prefer sweeter taste) Directions: 1. In a small bowl, mix collagen with warm water until well dissolved. 2. Add collagen and all other ingredients into blender and blend until well mixed. 3. Pour into silicone popsicle molds (tip- line with a little coconut oil first so they come out easier). 4. Freeze and enjoy!! 😋🍠🥥

Good morning all you beautiful people! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It’s Sunday and in our house that means meal prep and church. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Why do I meal prep? See ⬇️⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Well for starters, I like to eat.⁣⁣ ⁣ It saves time. In 50 minutes I was able to make 8 meals, all done and ready to go. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It saves energy. I don’t know about you, but man, I am indecisive when it comes to picking food. Now, I don’t have to think about it. I just grab and go! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It saves money. An average lunch costs less than $10 vs. ordering take out which typically cost no less than $15. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It saves my waist line. My lunches are 500 calories or less vs. 750+ calories for take out. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Example (my favorite lunch when ordering) sushi-⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Cost-$20.75 for 3 rolls + delivery⁣⁣ Calories- approximately 840⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Those are some good worthy green savings! #mealprep #eatingonabudget #paleo #whole30friendly #savings #fitness #planning #healthyfood

To continue the theme of Mediterranean inspired recipes I’m sharing all kinds of sides this week! Kicking it off with my Roasted Harissa Veggies with Lemon Tahini Dressing. . . Harissa is a middle eastern spice mix made from red bell peppers, red chilies, white vinegar, garlic, and olive oil. It’s super spicy and tangy and I love it! I marinated a bunch of fresh veggies from the @pcfma like bell peppers, eggplant, and zucchini in @mina harissa. I roasted these veggies along with some sweet and juicy dried plums to balance the heat from the harissa. Once fully roasted, I drizzled them with my homemade lemon tahini dressing (recipe on the blog)! . This bright and naturally creamy dressing complemented the flavor and texture of the Harissa veggies perfectly. . . I can’t wait for you to try this! It took me only 15 mins of prep time and 45 mins of roasting. Super easy and so delish! We have berry bushes in our backyard... It’s taken years for them to produce fruit...they are like nothing I have ever tasted. Sweet candy, made by God. We are only able to grow about a pint, but they are so worth it. Like healing, these bushes took years to give us these magical tasting fruits...I wanted to cut them down because they didn’t make my backyard look manicured or pretty. The outcome was amazing, but the growing, waiting and an ugly looking bush made way for natures candy. If I would have cut the bush down, we never would have gotten these gifts. DAY TWENTY-ONE // Breakfast: Here we are again with yet another post featuring eggs (lol). Like I’ve said before, I’m not someone who gets tired of eggs. I enjoy starting my day with a routine because it helps me feel less stressed, so whether it’s fried eggs, scrambled eggs, or hard boiled I know they keep me satiated and start my day off on a good note. Here we also have @whole30approved bacon — and I want to point out that for me, I waited until the second half of this @whole30 to introduce bacon into my meals. Even now I only make piece-by-piece, not a full package where I may be tempted to keep indulging when I should’ve pumped the brakes. Right now I’m using bacon as a way to add more protein and fat, not as a breakfast treat/reward. You don’t need a microwave, you can eat it quickly, they taste amazing, are quick to throw together AND they’re versatile! . . 1/4 cup chia seeds (sub 1/2 cup steel cut oats if you’d like) 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup blueberries 1 tbsp chunky peanut butter . These are the shorts I wore last year. I remember buying them. I was going to TX and it was HOT! I hadn’t worn shorts in years you guys. I don’t think I’d even gone clothes shopping in years. I was so embarrassed and frustrated. How had I let this happen. These are a size 18! I’d never been this big before in my life. I started working out a few months before I bought these and was so upset that I hadn’t gotten further along in my journey. The workouts were a struggle though. My nutrition was sooooo bad! I felt lost and definitely didn’t feel like myself anymore. ⁣ ⁣ When I got back from TX, I had made the decision that my life was going to change. I was going to move to get out of the rat race, I was going to start taking better care of my health and I was going to pursue something that set my soul on fire. 2 of the 3 of those were answered with 1 message to a woman I’d been following on social.
