Very curious on this... Do you think being at a content stage of life is good, or should you always be looking for more?🤔 - I personally think this is very interesting as I used to always look at life as something where you NEED to be progressing/ moving forward. However as of recently I’ve started to think, being content is good. I’m in someways very envious of people who are content with their life... If you have a good job, with good salary, have hobbies outside of your work that you enjoy and do okay in etc etc, then should there be a need to change any of that when you don’t need to? Atm, I’m very much leaning on the side of no, you don’t need to, so why should you if you’re happy with what you have. Rewind not even a year ago, I used to always think no matter what area of life you look at, you should always be striving for more. Maybe that’s more happiness, more money, healthier relationships, whatever it is, I used to always think you should be wanting MORE... Now though, now I think if you’re constantly looking for more, you’ll never be happy, you’ll never be rich enough, you’ll never appreciate those around you... MISFIT MONDAY! Here is an example of a misfit exercise that actually is extremely useful. I think it is called “spider push up,” basically a off- set walking push up that is very helpful in full body functional training. The next exercise is a “bear crawl” and it is just as effective while being a modified version. For this I used point to point goal lines and set my timer for 40 seconds to see how many times I could make it up and back. How do you train your hamstrings to get that big and defined? 🤔 . Over my years of training to build the size and definition of my legs, I’ve done plenty of studies and also had plenty of experience with different training mechanisms.. and one thing I know when it came to building my hamstrings.. was the eccentric focus on the negative portion of the movement. . The prime movers for the hamstrings are hip extension, as they are used to extend the hip. With having this in mind, the EXTENSION needs to be considered at all times. . Hamstring exercises should mainly be considered on the negative portion, putting complete focus on the extension. You will never see me do any hamstring movement without atleast a 3 sec negative. Time under tension is always my focus when training them.. mixed with compound lifts and isolation exercises. . My goal is to get a YouTube channel started by late February/Mid March once some things are settled in. Topics like these are topics I would love to go in high depth and explain my reasoning as to why I approach certain muscle a certain way, or train certain muscles differently. Can’t wait to express all the info I have written down in blueprint.
