London, wildlife, flowers, vegetables, my allotment star in most of my photos. Oh, and cats, possibly, sometimes, oftentimes
Top weekend in Dorset for the lovely wedding of @clarekapur’s colleague 🌞 🌊 😎 🎶 🎺 ❤️
Look at the loveliness of these sweetpeas growing through the rose bush! 🌸🥀🌸🥀🌸🥀
Incredibly enough, this is my 18th summer with an allotment. Just counted. My first allotment was at @vauxhallfarm and then I got this one at Rosendale Road five years ago. Here’s some of today’s excitement with the 🐝 on the borage flower, poppy seed heads which I’m going to save for next year, a rose I accidentally cut thinking it was a bramble 😳, some of today’s harvest, and some figgy progress. Glorious out there today in the sunshine☀️☀️☀️

These are my #rhshampton purchases. I got some plants to fill up my trough. The other plants died because I am stupid and left it in the shade in a load of water when what was required was sun and dryness. You live and learn. I also bought a heather with pretty white flowers which a fellow punter was also buying. The other punters were really friendly on Tuesday. Which is unusual. And I bought some willow sticks for £10 to put in the ground. Obviously I could have cut them from the willow tree at my parents’ house but that would be far too cheap and sensible
Escaped to #rhshampton today. Very lovely indeed and managed to get away with not spending too much money!
Borage, loganberries and alliums up at the allotment this morning
Lily’s arrived! Also Cosmos slowly slowly, Astrantia, and nearly Nicotiana. Happy Sunday 😀🌞🌹🌞🌹🌞
First cosmos is about to flower! First rose on the rambling rose is out! Happy weekend from sunny Stockwell, everyone!
All five of my sweetpea colours are out now. Love them! 💐💐💐
Garden snooping day today at Stockwell Park Festival Open Gardens! 👃🏼👃🏼👃🏼👃🏼
Garden views. Very, very happy with our new water feature! The cats will probably drink it.
At home in the garden - sweetpeas!
After a heavy week I managed to sneak off early to spend the afternoon allotmenting. Thank goodness I did because the gooseberries needed picking and it was weed central. A great fat FriYAY from me! 🌱
Ooh look a self-seeded poppy has popped up! 🌺🌺🌺 . The snails are on the march in all this rain. They’ve wiped out my zinnia seedlings and now they’ve got their eye on my cucumbers. I do struggle with my belief in animal welfare when it comes to 🐌 🐌 🐌 . Where’s Wiggins?
Oh I do like to be beside the seaside. Just home from a quick trip to Deal. Blue skies yesterday, bit greyer today 🌞🌤🌥☁️🌊
💐 Sweetpeas are here!!! 💐 I love the red (Winston Churchill 👀) and I love the purple (Blue Velvet 👍). Think the sweetpea/clematis combo’s working well too. Happy weekend, everyone!
A combination of a super busy week and teeming rain every day has meant hardly any outdoors time this week. @clarekapur found this strawberry🍓 in the allotment for me today though ❤️
